Red-hot needle therapy made a lot of progress in recent years. As the therapy had both the feature of acupuncture and moxibustion, combining the function of warming yang, dredging meridian and adjusting the viscera function, it improved or even cured dermatosis. The dermatologist applied the therapy on treatment of warts off, prurigo nodularis, herpes zoster and its post-herpetic neuralgia and cystic acne. The author introduced the operation and experiences of using red-hot needle on treating dermatosis specifically.
