To explore the clinical effect of acupoint moxibustion in the treatment of leukocytopenia caused by tumor chemotherapy. Methods:Eighty two patients with leukocytopenia caused by tumor chemotherapy admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to June 2015 were divided into two groups according to the random number table, with 41 cases in each group. The control group was given Batilol tablets, Leucogen tablets for oral treatment, and the study group was given moxibustion on Shenque, Qihai, Guanyuan, Zusanli acupoint. TCM symptoms score, KPS score and peripheral blood white cell count before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and white blood cell count normal rate and total effective rate of the two groups were compared. Results:TCM symptom score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, and its KPS score was higher than that of the control group, the peripheral blood white blood cell count and the total effective rate of the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and all the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05, P<0.01). Conclusion:Moxibustion can effectively improve both Qi and Yin deficiency syndrome of the patients and improve the patient′s functional status and physical condition, increase the peripheral blood white cell count, and it has a distinct curative effect in treatment of leukopenia due to tumor chemotherapy.
