This article reviewed the researches in the past three years about Chinese medicine on radiation enteritis from the aspects of understanding of the mechanism, treatment and clinical efficacy. Currently, traditional Chinese medicine has clear and united understanding on radiation enteritis; the mechanism by Traditional Chinese Medicine is explicit, but lacking of in-depth study of the active substance; Chinese medicine prevention and treatment on radiation enteritis was significantly better than western medicine from the efficacy, which is an advantage of traditional Chinese medicine, and there are some creative derivations. However, the researched in the fields of non-drug treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, integration of traditional Chinses medicine and western medicine and TCM combined with psychological intervention are still rare, and so is those on TCM prevention of radiation enteritis.
