Abstract:To observe the clinical effect of Dong’s acupressure therapy in children with vomiting. Methods:Totally 72 patients were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group:the experiment group was provided with Dong’s acupressure therapy, the control group oral administration of Domperidone Suspension (domperidone), a course treatment of 15 days. Before and after treatment, the clinical symptoms and signs of the patients were observed, as well as the changes of the gastric antrum (normal frequency percentage, normal energy percentage, and the degree of dispersion) after the meal. Results:The total efficiency of Dong’s acupressure was 96.9%, while that of Domperidone was 90%, P<0.05. Gastric electrocardiogram showed that Dong’s acupressure could effectively improve the percentage of normal frequency of gastric body after meal, postprandial dispersion and postprandial dispersion of gastric antrum, which was statistically significant compared with the control group. Conclusion:Dong’s acupressure can effectively treat vomiting in children and regulate Gastric function, worthy of promotion.
