Professor En-xiang Chao,the National Medical Masters established and enriched the theory of “wind evil” and the therapeutic principle “treating with purgative”.He treats SARS,H1N1 and other infectious diseases according to the theory of warm disease.Pro.Chao advocated the principle “regulating while reinforcing deficiency” in geriatric diseases,established and enriched the lung disease and emergency diseases of TCM,developed the scientific essence of modern warm disease,provided a new way of Diagnosing and treating miscellaneous diseases and geriatric diseases.This article tries to do a summary of Pro.Chao’s academic thoughts about his clinical experience of treating lung diseases,emergency diseases and geriatric diseases.
