Abstract:To explore clinical effect of acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine decoction treatment in treating patients with pelvic floor relaxation syndrome and its influnce on patients’quality of life of. Methods:A total number of 107 patients with pelvic floor relaxation syndrome who were treated in the hospital from December 2014 to December 2015 during relaxation of the pelvic floor syndrome were selected and randomly divided into the observation group with 54 cases and the control group with 53 cases. Patients in the control group received decoction treatment, while patients in the observation group additionally received acupuncture treatment. The treatment lasted for 4 weeks. Efficacy, main symptom scores, quality of life before and after treatment and adverse reaction of the two groups were compared. Results:The total efficiency of the observation group (94.44%) was higher than that of the control group (77.36%) (P<0.05). Stool condition, defecation sensation, anal bulging, abdominal distention score of the two groups decreased after the treatment (P<0.05) but those of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). PAC-QOL score of the two groups significantly decreased after treatment (P<0.05) and that of the observation group PAC-QOL score decreased more obviously(P<0.05). No serious adverse reactions occured in the two groups and no abnornal results electrocardiogram, blood, urine, liver and kidney functional tests in the two groups. Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Chinese medicine decoction in treating pelvic floor relaxation syndrome may have significant effect and significantly improve the quality of life of patients, which is worth studying.
