To observe the curative effect of Yishen Huashi Granule combined Valsartan in treating chronic glomerulonephritis.Methods:A total of screened 162 cases of chronic glomerulonephritis patients who were treated in our hospital were divided into control group and treatment group by random number table，81 cases each group.The control group accepted Valsartan treatment.Treatment group accepted Yishen Huashi Granule combined Valsartan treatment.The curative effect，urine protein，renal function and adverse reaction of two groups were observed before and after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group was 92.6%，and control group was 71.6%.Treatment group was significantly higher than control group (t＝12.138，P<0.05).After treatment，the urine protein (UPRO)，serum creatinine (Scr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) of two groups had an obvious improvement (P<0.05)，and treatment group had siginificantly better results than the control group (t＝3.062/7.940/3.434，P<0.05).Two groups had no serious adverse reaction cases.Treatment group had 2 cases of dizziness.Control group had 3 cases of dizziness and 2 cases of weakness.Above-mentioned cases didn′t accept special treatment，and the symptoms were spontaneous relieved.Conclusion:The clinical curative effect of Yishen Huashi Granule combined Valsartan in treating chronic glomerulonephritis is better than Valsartan alone.Combined drug therapy had a better result in UPRO and renal function，and there were no serious adverse reactions after treatment.It is worthy to be used widely.
