To apply evidence-based medicine for systematically evaluating the effect of Guizhi and Gegen Decoction in the treatment of cervical spondylosis.Methods:Relevant papers on Guizhi and Gegen Decoction in treating cervical spondylosis from 1990 to 2014,conforming to the requirements of the randomized controlled trial (RCT) and controlled clinical trials (CCTS),were screened in CNKI,VIP and CMB database by computer.The Cochrane collaboration and RevMan 5.2 software were applied for meta-analysis.Results:Twelve papers about randomized controlled clinical research were included with 1039 cases.The results by meta-analysis showed that there was significant difference between the groups.Conclusion:Guizhi and Gegen Decoction may obviously relieve symptoms caused by cervical spondylosis,such as headache and neck pain,dizziness,etc.
