To observe clinical efficacy of Pingtiao Decoction on the treatment of hyperemesis gravidarurm. Methods:A total number of 140 patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group. Seventy patients in the control group were treated with Gengnian Ningxin Capsule, while the rest 70 patients in the treatment group were treated with Pingtiao Decoction. All these groups were treated for 56 days as one course. Results:After 56 days treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 98.86%, significantly higher than that of the control group with the rate of 77.56% (P<0.05). Symptoms like temperature changing abruptly, sweat, irritation, anger, low back pain, insomnia, dizziness, etc. of both the two groups improved significantly, which showed statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion:Pingtiao Decoction has a better curative effect in the treatment of perimenopausal syndrome.
