Nowadays，innovative inventions get well-protected through Intellectual Property System.However，the issue that whether traditional knowledge，which concentrating ancestral wisdom with great potential value for R&D，is in the scope of IPS protection is still in heated discussion，thus it is easy exposed to the threat of misappropriation from other countries.In order to solve this problem，some countries have developed Sui-generis System for TK protection or established TK database.Taking Korean Traditional Knowledge Portal which is framed with traditional medicine as subject matter，introduces establishment and protection methods of TK database in other countries，shares the related experiences，makes the analysis of infringement of Traditional Chinese Medicine and also proposes the countermeasures.
