Abstract:To compare curative effect and mechanism of EA therapy and RSA therapy in treating knee joint dysfunction caused by knees immobilization.Methods:Randomly divided 24 New Zealand rabbits into four groups: normal group,model group,RSA group and EA group,with 6 rabbits of each group.Make knee joint dysfunction model except for normal group.Treatment groups received treatment after 6 weeks of modeling.The Lequesne MG was evaluated at 4,8,12 weeks after modeling.HE staining was observed at 13 weeks after modeling.X-ray were used to assess the radiological changes of knee joint dysfunction model rabbits.Results:Behavioral: EA and RSA therapy can effectively relieve movement disorder (P<0.05),swelling local reaction in knee joint dysfunction model rabbits and the effects were similar within two groups (P>0.05.Light microscope: EA(P<0.05) and RAS(P<0.01) therapies could all worked effectively but RSA group behaves better than EA group.X-ray: Tow therapies could all worked effectively but RSA group is superior to EA group.Conclusion:EA and RSA therapy showed definite effect on knee joint dysfunction model rabbits caused by knees immobilization,and RSA therapy is better for its direct intervention on soft tissue.
