Pain is one of the most common signs in clinical, and wrist-ankle acupuncture has showed a unique superiority in pain management. This article reviewed and summarized relevant medical literature about wrist-ankle acupuncture for pain diseases, focusing on the clinical effect mechanism research and present problems in research process. The paper aims to provide reference for further clinical promotion and research of wrist-ankle acupuncture.
