Residual renal function is important for the reduction of mortality and improvement of life quality in patients with end-stage renal disease. However, in the process of protecting peritoneal dialysis in treatment of residual renal function of patients, traditional Chinese medicine played an important role. This paper would have a review on TCM in protection of residual renal function of patients with peritoneal dialysis.
