Abstract:By reading the medical works on blood-pricking therapy in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and analyzing literatures in CNKI to explore the characteristics of physicians in Ming and Qing dynasties in blood-pricking tools, locations of blood-pricking, amount of bleeding, indications and contraindications. Through a large number of literature study, it was found that the summary of the treatment of blood-pricking in the Ming and Qing Dynasties was relatively insufficient. This paper mainly systematically summarized and reviewed the blood-pricking therapy during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The physicians in the theory and clinical application of collateral blood-pricking therapy had their characteristics, providing more theoretical basis and reference for the later clinical application and development of blood-pricking therapy.
