Through collecting and summarizing recent theories and clinical researches, we know the research progress of acne treatments according to damp-heat constitution well.This article concluded from the aspects such as constitution epidemiological surveys of acne, theory discussions of damp-heat acne treatments raised by recent doctors, clinical research of acne treatments and usages of formulas, and thus concluded that treating acne according to damp-heat constitution had important theoretical basis and clinical advantages.These would provide a new thought to prevent and treat acne, and offer theories and clinical evidences for curing acne radically according to constitution.
