To observe the efficacy of Xuefu Zhuyu tablets combined with Stellate Ganglion Block in treating upper extremity herpes zoster.Methods:A total of 80 patients with upper extremity herpes zoster who were admitted and treated in Nanjing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from September 2015 to December 2016 were randomly divided into two groups.The control group was treated with antivral and neurotrophic therapy, and the treatment group was treated with Xuefu Zhuyu tablets combined with Stellate Ganglion Block.Results:The efficiency of the treatment group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).After being treated for 1, 2, 4 and 8 weeks, VAS score of both groups was gradually decreased, and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05).The PSQI accident rate was decreased except sleeping medicine 4 weeks after treatment, and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group (P<0.05).The hyperalgesia of all patients were remission after 3 month.Conclusion:Xuefuzhuyu tablets s combined with Stellate Ganglion Block in the treatment of upper extremity herpes zoster has significant efficacy.
