Naming is especially complex in ancient Chinese medicine. In order to better explore lymph tuberculosis via the combination of Chinese and western medicine treatment, it is necessary to explore the source from the origin name of the scrofula and lymph tuberculosis. Through collating ancient literature books, combining China medical history and western medicine history and contrasting the lymphatic tuberculosis with scrofula (Luoli). The author found the history of Chinese scrofula treatment was earlier than the record of Cold and Heat Disease, Spiritual Pivot. Starting with the Book of Mountains and Seas, Feet and Back in 11 Pulse by Moxibustion, Prescriptions of Fifty-two Diseases unearthed from Changsha Mawangdui, the discovery from the research of scrofula disease proved that China's treatment of lymphatic tuberculosis as early as 1000 years of western history.
