To explore the effects of Simo decoction combined with Yinzhihuang oral liquid on bilirubin level，immune function and neonatal behavioral neurological assessment (NBNA) score in jaundice of newborn.Methods:A total of 124 cases of jaundice of newborn who were treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from October 2016 to April 2018 were selected.They were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method，with 62 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Yinzhihuang oral liquid，and the observation group was treated with Simo decoction combined with Yinzhihuang oral liquid.The changes of serum bilirubin，immune function and NBNA score were compared between the two groups.The adverse reactions of the two groups were recorded and compared.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.77%，which was significantly higher than 85.48% in the control group (P<0.05).After the treatment，the serum bilirubin levels of the two groups were significantly decreased，and the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).Meanwhile，the days of the serum bilirubin returned to normal in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05).After the treatment，the levels of cluster of differentiation 4+ (CD4+) and CD4+/CD8+ and Immune Gloulin A (IgA)，IgG in the two groups were significantly increased.However，the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).After the treatment，the NBNA scores of the two groups were significantly increased，and the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion:Simo decoction combined with Yinzhihuang oral liquid is effective in the treatment of jaundice of newborn.It can rapidly reduce serum bilirubin level in children，improve the immune function，and be conducive to the neurological development of the children，which is worthy of clinical promotion.
