To explore the etiology,pathogenesis and treatment of chronic cheilitis from the perspective of Chinese and western medicine.Professor Li Yuanwen considers that the main pathogenesis of chronic lipitis is dampness-heat of spleen and stomach,combined with accumulated heat of heart and spleen,and puts forward the idea of “dampness-heat resolves dryness”.In terms of treatment,it takes “dampness-heat resolves dryness” as the thought basis of pathogenesis,and gives consideration to the treatment thought of “three differentiations and one symptom”.Through transverse and longitudinal cross treatment,satisfactory effect has been achieved.And here is a case to support it.
