To explore efficacy of Mailuo Shutong Pills in deep venous thrombosis and its effects on inflammatory factors.Methods:A total of 76 patients with deep venous thrombosis of lower limb admitted in No.960 Hospital of The PLA Joint Logistic Support Force from August 2017 to March 2019 were selected as subjects and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method，with 38 patients in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with absolute bed rest.Affected limbs were raised about 30 cm above the bed surface and about 30° from the bed surface.Pressing and hot compressing were strictly prohibited，and absolute braking was maintained.Only basic treatment like enteric-coated aspirin and blank placebo were used.There were no other drugs for detumescence or analgesia applied.Patients in the observation group were given Mailuo Shutong Pills orally on the treatment basis of the control group.One bottle per oral administration，3 times/d，and 7 d was 1 course of treatment.At the end of each course of the treatment，affected limb circumference of the patient，pain sensation，pigmentation score，and levels of 4 inflammatory factors：C-reactive protein(CPR)，interleukin 1β(IL-1β)，interleukin 6(IL-6)and fibrinogen(FBI)in the blood were measured.Stability of all the indicators of the patient after 2 consecutive courses of the treatment was considered as stable efficacy.Results:In the 2 groups，total cure rates were significantly different after the treatment.The total cure rate in the observation group was 78.94%，which was better than 52.26% in the control group.And average cure time in the 2 groups was(18.6±3.2)d and(30.8±5.4)d，separately.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical indexes and the levels of the 4 inflammatory factors：CPR，IL-1β，IL-6 and FBI in the observation group were superior to those in the control group，and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the observation group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The efficacy of Mailuo Shutong Pills in treating deep venous thrombosis is significant，which can significantly decrease the level of inflammatory factors in the blood and has high safety.
