To find，edit and narrate literatures about promoting fracture healing from representative and classic works of Chinese materia medica.By using ancient literatures of Chinese materia medica and medical literature databases，combining research achievements of modern pharmacology，to study characteristics of Chinese materia medica for promoting fracture healing.Referring to the modern research achievements，it provides a theoretical basis for studies on clinical application of ancient formulas and modern orthopedics.Literatures and pharmacological studies have shown that Chinese materia medica has a good effect on promoting fracture healing.It can be taken both internally and externally.In-depth study on Chinese materia medica that promotes fracture healing，and analysis from the perspective of molecular pharmacology，can help uncover the mechanism of Chinese materia medica in promoting fracture healing.
