Qingre Chushi Decoction was an in-hospital preparation of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, developed by the famous Chinese medicine skin surgery expert Mr.Zhao Bingnan.It is a common clinical experience prescription for treating dermatosis caused by dampness and heat, composed of Radix Gentianae, Radix Scutellariae, Radix Rehmanniae Recens, Herba Plantaginis, Gypsum Fibrosum, Rhizoma Imperatae, Folium Isatidis, Liuyi Powder.It has the effect of clearing heat and removing dampness, cooling blood and detoxifying, and has a good effect of clinical application in the treatment of acute eczema, allergic dermatitis, herpes zoster and other skin diseases.According to the TCM rules of “treating different diseases with same method”, currently it is also applied to acne, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, hormone dependent dermatitis and so on which are part of damp heat syndrome.This paper expounded the syndrome differentiation application of Qingre Chushi Decoction from the aspects of its composition, function and treatment, compatibility application, pharmacological research and so on, in order to inherit the clinical experience of famous veteran doctors of TCM, and to use it flexibly, so as to bring into play the characteristics of traditional effective prescriptions, solving the pain for the patient.
