Abstract:To explore the relationship between the changes of meteorological factors and the incidence of Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19) based on weather data of Wuhan and the daily incidence of COVID-19 from January 20,2020 to February 11,2020.Methods:The number of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases daily released by Wuhan Municipal Health Committee from January 20,2020 to February 11,2020 were counted. The five-day slide average method was used to deal with the daily average wind speed, average temperature, average relative humidity, and daily precipitation.Scatter plot analysis and correlation analysis were used to calculate the relationship between the incidence of COVID-19 and meteorological factors. Conclusion:from January 20,2020 to February 11,2020 in Wuhan, the daily mean temperature was positively correlated with the incidence of COVID-19(r=0.540,P<0.01).When the average temperature was higher than 6.16°c,the daily incidence of COVID-19 was higher.
