Abstract:To explore the effects of Zhike Pingchuan syrup combined with budesonide on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and its effects on C-reactive protein, procalcitonin and neutrophils. Methods:A total of 100 patients with COPD admitted to Jiangyou Second People's Hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group by random number method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was treated with budesonide, while the observation group received budesonide+Zhike Pingchuan Syrup treatment. The clinical efficacy of the 2 groups was compared, and the C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin (PCT), neutrophil ratio (N%) and lung function improvement of the 2 groups were observed before and after treatment. Results:After treatment with Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine, the clinical efficacy of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).The PCT, CRP, and N% levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The improvement of lung function in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of patients with COPD with Zhike Pingchuan Syrup and budesonide can effectively improve the clinical symptoms, reduce the levels of CRP, PCT and N%, and improve the lung function of patients. The clinical application effects are significant and worth promoting.
