Objective To explore the effects of combined Qinghou Liyan Decoction combined with Jinsang Sanjie Pill on voice recovery in patients with vocal cord polyps surgery.Methods A total of 66 patients with vocal dysfunction after vocal cord polyp surgery were selected in Shaanxi People's Hospital of Shaanxi Province from January 2016 to January 2019 with the method of random table，with 33 cases in each group.Patients in control group was given postoperative routine treatment and rehabilitation training，while those in the study group was given Qinghou Liyan Decoction combined with Jinsang Sanjie Pill.The efficacy of the 2 groups，the time of symptom regression，the change of patients' conscious symptom score before and after treatment，the VHI score before and after treatment，the quality of life score before and after treatment(SF-36)，and the adverse reactions after treatment and other data were compared.Results The effective rate of treatment in the study group(96.97%)was higher than that in the control group(78.79%)(P<0.05).After treatment，the symptoms resolution time of hoarseness，vocal cord congestion and edema in the study group was shorter than those in the control group(P<0.01).Before treatment，the subjective symptoms scores of dryness，cough，pain and foreign body sensation in each group were similar(P>0.05).After treatment，the subjective symptoms scores of dryness，cough，pain and foreign body sensation in each group were improved，and the study group was superior to the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment，VHI score and SF-36 scores of patients in the 2 groups were similar(P>0.05).After treatment，VHI score and SF-36 score of patients in each group were improved，and the scores in the study group was superior to those in the control group(P<0.05).The adverse reaction rate(3.03%)in the study group was lower than that in the control group(3.03%)(P>0.05).Conclusion Qinghou Liyan Decoction combined with Jinsang Sanjie Pill can improve the clinical efficacy of vocal cord polyp postoperative vocal dysfunction，improve the symptoms of patients，promote the early recovery of patients，improve the quality of life of patients，and the adverse reaction rate is low，with high safety.It is worthy of promotion and application.
