Abstract:To explore the intervention effects of Yishen Quzhuo Formula on the expression of hormones and insulin receptors in polycystic ovary syndrome model (PCOS-IR) rats. Methods:A total of 60 SPF level SD female rats aged 6-8 weeks were randomly divided into a blank group, a model group, a Yishen Quzhuo group, a Yishen Quzhuo group, and a Western medicine group (Diane-35 combined with metformin), with 12 rats in each group. The blank group was fed with normal diet, and the other groups were fed with letrozole by gavage combined with high-fat diet until the 27th day. Then, different drugs were fed by gavage for 2 weeks. The expression of androgen receptor (AR), luteinizing hormone receptor (LHR) in ovary, stomach and intestine and insulin receptor (INSR) in ovary were observed by immunofluorescence. Results:After 14 days of treatment, Yishen Quzhuo Formula could significantly reduce the expression of AR, LHR and INSR in part of ovary in rats (P<0.05), the expression of AR and LHR in stomach (P<0.05), and the expression of LHR in colon tissue (P<0.05).Conclusion:Yishen Quzhuo Formula may regulate endocrine disorders in model rats by lowering the expression of AR, LHR and further exert therapeutic effects on metabolic disorder of PCOS-IR rats by reducing the expression level of INSR.
