Calcium ions play an important role in human daily life. This paper systematically analyzed the early achievements of the research team, combined with related domestic and international research. Based on the relationship between calcium ions and meridian acupoints of biochemistry, the distribution of calcium ions in acupuncture points, the effects of acupuncture on calcium concentration in meridian points and calcium in peripheral meridian points during visceral and sacral disease changes in ion concentration, the effects of complexed calcium ions on acupuncture effects, and the relationship between calcium ions and nerves and mast cells were comprehensively discussed in order to promote the study of the material basis of meridian points and provide a basis for the study of meridian points.
