Abstract:To observe the therapeutic effects of Panax notoginseng saponins(PNS)on macrophage inflammation in mice and to explore its possible mechanism. Methods:By Western Blotting test,Real-time PCR method and Elisa test, the effects of PNS on the expression of inflammatory regulatory factors PPAR-α,TNF-α,CRP and M CSF,IL 6,iNOS and COX-2 in mice macrophages were comparatively studied. Results:After the establishment of mouse macrophage inflammation model preparations, the concentrations of TNF-α,CRP,M CSF,IL 6,iNOS and COX-2 were significantly up-regulated.After administration of Panax Notoginseng Saponins, the levels of inflammatory factors were significantly lower than those in the model group, and the differences are statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion:Panax notoginseng saponins could significantly inhibit the inflammatory effects of macrophages in mice, and its mechanism may be realized by activating the regulatory factor PPAR-α.
