To investigate the effects of Shenyan Formula combined with valsartan dispersible tablets on the efficacy and renal function in patients with chronic glomerulonephritis.Methods:A total of 122 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis admitted to Department of Nephrology，Hechuan Hospital，First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from February 2016 to February 2019 were enrolled as the study objects and were divided into 2 groups according to different treatment methods：a control group and a study group，with 61 cases in each group.The control group was treated with valsartan dispersible tablets.The study group based on the control group，were treated with combined with the treatment of Shenyan Formula and valsartan dispersible tablets to analyze the dynamic changes of renal function indicators in the 2 groups，the expression level of inflammatory factors，clinical efficacy and adverse reactions after treatment.Results:The dynamic changes of the 5 indexes of TC，TG，BUN，Scr and 24 h UPE in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The dynamic changes of ALB in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).The levels of IL-6，IL-10，CRP and TNF-α in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The therapeutic efficacy of the study group was 98.4% higher than that of the control group (86.9%) (P>0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 6.6% lower than that of the control group (31.1%) (P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of self-made Shenyan Formula combines with valsartan dispersible tablets can enhance the curative effects，improve renal function，reduce the expression level and adverse reactions of pro-inflammatory factors，and it is worthy of popularization in the clinic.
