Abstract:To explore the effects of acupuncture combined with moxibustion on inflammation indexes and TCM symptom scores of chronic pelvic inflammatory patients with qi stagnation and blood stasis. Methods:A total of 60 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease of qi stagnation and blood stasis type were selected from March 2017 to March 2019 in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and were divided into an observation groups according to the random number table method(n=30)and a control group(n=30).Both groups of patients received conventional anti-inflammatory treatment. The control group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of this. The observation group was treated with moxibustion on the basis of the control group. The white blood cell count,TCM syndrome score and adverse reactions of the 2 groups were compared before and after treatment. Results:The clinical efficacy of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The TCM symptom scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group and those before treatment(P<0.05).The RBC of the observation group after treatment was significantly lower than that of the control group and before treatment(P<0.05); the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that of the control group during treatment, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with moxibustion can significantly improve the treatment effects of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, improve the TCM syndromes of patients, reduce the inflammatory response, and has high treatment safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
