Terahertz technology is a frontier tool in physics，and has been widely used in astronomy，national defense，communications and other fields.The application of terahertz spectroscopy and terahertz imaging have made substantial progress in biomedicine field，and series of studies on terahertz radiation effect studies have also been developed.In the field of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)，terahertz technology is mainly used for identification and quality management of Chinese medicines and their ingredients.If the innovative applications in TCM theories and traditional therapies are expanded，it can provide new directions for the research of terahertz technology in the field of TCM，making it one of the innovative technological means for modernizing TCM.
