To explore the effects of Yuye Decoction on intestinal flora and lipid metabolism in type 2 diabetic obese patients.Methods:A total of 106 type 2 diabetic obese patients admitted to Guangzhou Chinese Medicine Hospital were divided into a control group and a study group according to diagnostic order，with 53 cases in each group.Both groups were given basic treatment+drug treatment，and the study group was treated with Yuye Decoction on the bases of the control group.Before and after treatment，intestinal flora，lipid metabolism，TCM symptom score，blood glucose related indicators，body weight，waist circumference，BMI were observed and compared between the 2 groups.Results:There was no significant difference between the 2 groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).After treatment，the symptom scores of TCM，FINS，HOMA-IR，HbAlc，BMI，waist circumference，body weight，TC，TG，LDL-C，enterobacteriaceae，yeast，enterococcus，chilly limbs，sore waist and knees，wan abdomen in the observation group were significantly higher than those after treatment.The observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Yuye Decoction can improve lipid metabolism and clinical symptoms of type 2 diabetes mellitus，reduce blood sugar，regulate intestinal flora disorder，and improve the therapeutic effects.
