To explore the curative effects of Jiawei Chaishao Liujun Decoction combined with Tiaoshen acupuncture on chronic superficial gastritis(CSG)of liver-spleen disharmony.Methods:A total of 139 CSG patients were selected from July 2015 to September 2018 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University and were divided into a control group(n=69，routine Western medicine)and a study group(n=70，conventional Western medicine plus modified Chaishao Liujun Decoction combined with Tiaoshen acupuncture)according to random number table method.The clinical efficacy，relevant CSG score，gastrointestinal hormones and anxiety and depression were compared between the 2 groups，and adverse reactions during treatment were observed between the 2 groups.Results:The total effective rate in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment，gastroscopy scores of acid reflux，belching，upper abdominal distention，anorexia，epigastric pain，gastrin(GAS)，self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment，the levels of somatostatin(SS)and motilin(MTL)in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Jiawei Chaishao Liujun Decoction combined with Tiaoshen acupuncture has definite curative effects on CSG patients with of liver-spleen disharmony.It can effectively relieve clinical symptoms，improve gastrointestinal hormone indexes and anxiety and depression，with good safety.
