Abstract:To screen the effective parts of Vaccaria segetalis in the treatment of urinary tract infection,and and to study the effects of effective parts on IL-1β of bladder tissue.Methods:SD rats were used to inject the standard strain of Escherichia coli(ATCC 25922)into the bladder to establish a urinary tract infection model.After the rats were modeled,they were given the alcohol-soluble part and the alcohol-precipitated part of Vaccaria segetalis.The number of bacteria in urine and histopathological staining of the bladder were detected to evaluate its effectiveness; the bladder tissue after administration of the effective part was taken to detect the expression of interleukin-1β(IL-1β)mRNA and protein in the tissue.Results:Vaccaria segetalis's alcohol precipitation site can significantly reduce the positive rate of urine bacteria in rats,and the inflammatory infiltration of bladder tissue,and can significantly reduce the expression of IL-1β mRNA and protein in rat bladder tissue.The main component of Vaccaria segetalis's alcohol precipitation site is polysaccharide.Conclusion:Vaccaria segetalis polysaccharide extract is an effective part of treating urinary tract infection.
