In recent decades,with the continuous expansion of the scope of application of Chinese medicine in the world,10 types of large toxic Chinese medicines are recorded in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia and have gradually been used in clinics.However,after taking these drugs,the liver drug-metabolizing enzymes are mediated to achieve the therapeutic effect.The metabolic enzymes are affected,resulting in organ damage and other adverse reactions,which may endanger human life in serious cases.Therefore,it is extremely important to study the adverse reactions of large toxic Chinese medicines and liver metabolic enzymes.This paper summarizes the relevant research data of 10 kinds of large toxic Chinese medicines worldwide,providing scientific basis for the research and reasonable clinical application of large toxic Chinese medicines.
