Safety and Effectiveness of the Method of Cooling Blood Dehumidification and Detoxification on Psoriasis Vulgaris:a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis
To evaluate of the effectiveness and safety of the method of cooling blood dehumidification and detoxification in the treatment of psoriasis. Methods:Computer search of Cochrane Library,PubMed,Wiley,Ovid,Clinical Trials.gov,ChiCTR,Chinese Journal Full-text Database(CNKI),Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP),Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Wanfang Database and SIGLE Gray Literature database were retrieved by computer.Randomized controlled studies on the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris with the method of cooling blood and detoxification were searched so far.According to the method specified in the Cochrane Handbook, the literature was screened, data extracted, and quality evaluated, and the RevMan5.3 software was used for meta-analysis.Results:In the end,a total of 10 literature were included,789 patients with psoriasis vulgaris, and 2 were with low-biased papers. The risk of other bias was uncertain.Meta-analysis showed that the method of cooling blood dehumidification and detoxification treatment of psoriasis vulgaris can effectively improve clinical effective rate[OR=4.91,95%CI(3.15,7.67)],decrease PASI score[MD=-3.02,95%CI(-3.54,-2.50)],DLQI[score MD=-2.79,95%CI(-3.86,-1.71)]and the incident of adverse reactions. Conclusion:The current evidence supports the method of cooling blood dehumidification and detoxification could improve the clinical efficacy of psoriasis vulgaris, improve the quality of life, with good safety.
