Gout disease is a progressive metabolism disease，which is closely related to hyperuricemia and urate crystal deposition.It has become the second largest metabolism disease in China.In this paper，the guidelines and expert consensus on gout-related diseases at home and abroad and the understanding of gout diseases in traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine are classified and summarized based on literature review.And based on the understanding of gout disease，this paper summarizes the research progress of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of gout disease，aiming to provide reference for the diagnosis，treatment and research of gout disease.
