Cichorium intybus L.，Uighur conventional medicine，has nearly thousands years of medical，edible and feeding history.It has high medicinal and economic value.Recent studies have found that Cichorium intybus L.has significant uric acid-lowering activity，and can regulate uric acid-related metabolic disorders，showing a clear advantage in the treatment of metabolic diseases.Based on this，our research is based on the research results of Cichorium intybus L.in this group in the past 30 years combined with domestic and foreign research progress in recent 3 years.The chemical composition of Cichorium intybus L.and its prevention and treatment of uric acid-related metabolic diseases are systematically reviewed in order to provide reference for the research and development of Cichorium intybus L.in the future.
