Abstract:To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture in the treatment of intractable hiccups. Methods:CNKI,Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform,VIP Journal Resource Integration Service Platform,Pubmed were retrieved and randomized controlled clinical trial research literature on acupuncture treatment of intractable hiccups were collected. The search period was set from the establishment of the databases to June 1,2019.Meta-analysis was performed by using RevMan5.3 software after risk-biased evaluation of the final included literature. Results:A total of 12 RCT study were included in the study, with 1383 patients. The Meta results showed that the total effective rate of the acupuncture group was better than that of the Western medicine group [RR=1.26,95% CI(1.21,1.32),P<0.000 01].The curative rate was superior to the Western medicine routine treatment group[RR=1.51,95% CI(1.35,1.70),P<0.000 01]; the adverse reaction rate was lower than the control group [RR=0.11,95% CI(0.03,0.34),P=0.000 2].Conclusion:The effect of acupuncture treatment on intractable hiccup was significant and the safety of acupuncture treatment was higher.
