To explore the key targets and the mechanism of Epimedii Folium for the treatment of asthma based on the method of the network pharmacology and molecular docking.Methods:A variety of database was used to find the active ingredients and the targets of Epimedii Folium; a prediction model was established and molecular docking technology was used to screen and verify the targets; disease database was searched to obtain asthma-related targets; a protein-protein interaction network was built to screen key targets; the database was used to conduct GO functions enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis; the biological network for topology analysis was constructed.Results:Through screening,10 key targets,such as IL-6,TNF,and VEGFA,were obtained.A total of 66 pathways were enriched,including IL-17 signaling pathway,TNF signaling pathway,and HIF-1 signaling pathway and 446 functional information was obtained,including participating in inflammation response,regulating cell proliferation and apoptosis.Conclusion:The active component targets and action pathways in Epimedii Folium show significant enrichment in fighting inflammation and reversing airway remodeling,which are consistent with the mechanism of action for the treatment of asthma,and have broad development prospects in the prevention and treatment of asthma.
