To observe the effects of Chinese medicinal combined with auricular application pressure treatment in the treatment of children recurrent respiratory tract infections.Methods:According to the random number table，a total of 120 patients admitted to Shuguang Hospital Affiliate to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects and were divided into a control group and the observation group was treated with Chinese medicinal combined with auricular pressure.The control group was treated with Chinese medicinal only.The observation group was treated with Chinese medicinal combined with auricular pressure treatment.The course of treatment was 2 months.The follow-up period was 6 months.The clinical efficacy，the course of disease，the state of disease，the type of disease，TCM syndrome score and serum immunoglobulin(Ig)A were observed in the 2 groups.Results:The total effective rates were 93.33% in the observation group and 83.33% in the control group.But the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).In terms of disease improvement，the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05)，but there was no statistically significant difference between the 2 groups in terms of disease condition and course of disease improvement(P>0.05); the quantitative scores of TCM syndromes of the 2 groups of children after treatment were both improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05)，and the improvement of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05); the serum IgA levels of the 2 groups of child patients were higher than those before treatment，but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05); there were no adverse reactions in the 2 groups of children during the treatment.Conclusion:Chinese medicinal combined with auricular pressure treatment shows equivalent clinical efficacy with Chinese medicinal group.However，Chinese medicinal combined with Erzhen Anya Pills can improve TCM syndromes and disease types in children with relapse.
