Accurate and standard assessment tools are important for the diagnosis and interventions of radiation dermatitis(RD) in cancer patients.This paper reviews the radiation skin damage assessment tools developed at home and abroad,and analyzes the characteristics and problems of existing assessment tools.It is suggested that the appropriate scale should be selected according to the characteristics of the disease population,the intervention effect,the measurement burden,whether it is applied or verified in the target population,etc.during tumor diagnosis and research.This paper provides a method and basis for comprehensively assessing the symptoms of radiation-induced skin injury and the degree of quality of life,conducting high-quality clinical research,and rationally implementing targeted intervention measures.
