To identify the active components,action targets and action mechanisms of Banxia Houpo Decoction in the treatment of reflux esophagitis by using systems pharmacology method,thus providing references for its further development and clinical application.Methods:Using the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology (TCMSP) database and literature search,the chemical components of Banxia Houpo Decoction was collected;then OB and DL pharmacokinetic parameters was applied to screen the active compounds;WES model was used to predict the target of candidate active compounds;by searching the CTD database and the TTD database,the targets related to reflux esophagitis were screened out,and were used for GOBP and pathway enrichment analysis;finally,the compound-target,target-pathway networks were constructed.Results:A molecular database of Banxia Houpo Decoction consisting of 521 compounds was constructed,and 65 active compounds were obtained by OB and DL screening.The WES model predicted 249 targets for the active compounds;and 151 of them were screened out as reflux esophagus Inflammation-related targets.GOBP enrichment analysis of these targets yields 20 items of biological processes related to reflux esophagitis;there were 11 signal pathways in KEGG pathway enrichment screening.Conclusion:Banxia Houpo Decoction mainly treats reflux esophagitis by regulating inflammation,modulating gastrointestinal motility,protecting gastric mucosa,improving immunity,and regulating cholinergic nerves etc.Banxia Houpo Decoction treatmenting reflux esophagitis has the characteristics of multi-component,multi-target,and multi-path synergy,which is expected to provide new research ideas for the treatment of reflux esophagitis and provide theoretical basis for later experimental verification.
