To predict the mechanism of Xiexin Tongfu Decoction in the treatment of insomnia depression，the network pharmacology method is applied in the paper.Methods:By retrieving database search，the disease genes of insomnia and depression and the targets of the active ingredients in Xiexin Tongfu Decoction were obtained; and the functions and pathways involved in the treatment of insomnia and depression were screened out.And finally a “Chinese Medicinal-Active Ingredient-Target-Pathway” network was built.Results:The 50 active ingredients in Xiexin Tongfu Decoction can be associated with 191 disease targets of insomnia and depression through network pharmacology.KEGG enrichment analysis revealed 124 pathways.Conclusion:The treatment of insomnia with depression by Xiexin Tongfu Decoction may be through multiple targets and multiple components，and the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway is the most likely pathway for the treatment of insomnia with depression by Xiexin Tongfu Decoction.
