Research on the Mechanism of Network Pharmacology of Radix Ginseng for “Different Diseases with the Same Treatment” in Diabetes Mellitus and Erectile Dysfunction
To use network pharmacology methods to predict the active ingredients,targets and key pathways of Radix Ginseng in the treatment of diabetes mellitus and erectile dysfunction,so as to explore the common mechanism of the traditional Chinese medicine“ treating different diseases with the same treatment”Methods::Through searching SymMap,TCMSP and BATMAN database,we obtained the components and targets of Radix GinsengCombined with OMIM,GeneCards disease database,we obtained the common targets of diabetes mellitus and erectile dysfunction respectivelyWe took the intersection of the 2 to obtain the drug-disease protein target and imported it into the STRING platform for protein interaction network analysis,and used Cytoscape software to construct a network module and GO enrichment analysis and KEGG pathway function annotationResults:The mechanism and biological functions of Radix Ginseng in the treatment of diabetes mellitus and erectile dysfunction were related to drug response,hypoxia response,adenylate cyclase activation of adrenergic receptor signal transduction pathway,vasoconstriction regulation and response to nicotineCorrelation,mainly through the regulation of cGMP-PKG,NF-κB,HIF-1,TNF and other signal pathways to achieve the same treatment of different diseasesConclusion:The mechanism of Radix Ginseng in the treatment of diabetes mellitus and erectile dysfunction is mainly through the participation in angiogenesis,promoting the migration and chemotaxis of proliferating cells,reducing intravascular inflammation and other comprehensive interventions to exert the efficacy of single Chinese medicinal of “different diseases with the same treatment” effect.
