To explore the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for clearing away heat and reducing turbidity，replenishing qi and activating blood combined with atorvastatin calcium tablets in the treatment of patients with chronic glomerulonephritis(CGN).Methods:From May 2017 to May 2018，90 CGN patients who were treated in the Department of Nephrology，Lu'an City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected as the research objects.They were divided into an observation group and a control group by random number table method，with 45 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given dietary guidance and treated with atorvastatin calcium tablets.On the basis of the treatment of the control group，the observation group was given Chinese medicines for clearing away heat and reducing turbidity，replenishing qi and promoting blood circulation.Both groups of CGN patients were treated for 50 days，and the curative effect，blood lipid indexes and renal function indexes of the 2 groups were observed and recorded.Results:Compared with before treatment，the TC，TG，LDL，Scr，BUN and 24 h urine protein quantification of the two groups of CGN patients were significantly reduced，the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)，and the quantitative levels of TC，Scr，BUN and 24 h urine protein of the observation group decreased more significantly than those in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of patients in the observation group was 93.33%，and the total effective rate of CGN patients in the control group was 84.44%，the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for clearing away heat and reducing turbidity，replenishing qi and activating blood combined with atorvastatin calcium tablets can significantly reduce the serum lipid levels of CGN patients，restore them to normal，and improve renal function，which has high clinical application value.
