Dysphagia is one of the common complications of stroke，which seriously affects the patients' physical and mental health and quality of life.Academician SHI Xuemin established Tongguan Liqiao acupuncture method on the basis of Xingshen and resuscitation method.Based on the treatment principle of “adjusting the mind and guiding qi，nourishing the three yin，Tongguan Liqiao”.Neiguan(P6)，Shuigou(GV26)，Sanyinjiao(SP6)，Fengchi(G20)，Wangu(G12)，Yifeng(TE17)and other acupoints were selected.The scientific quantitative technique were demonstrated.We can accurately and effectively treat dysphagia after stroke.The author sorted out the relevant literature in recent years and systematically summarized the pathogenesis and treatment principles of dysphagia after stroke，the selection of acupoints，the surgical technique and measurement requirements of the “Tongguan Liqiao” acupuncture method，clinical efficacy achieved.It is hoped that it can better guide the clinic.
