Abstract:To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy on stable angina by Yiqi(qi benefiting)-Huoxue(blood activating) therapy in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) to provide medical evidence for TCM treatment of stable angina. Methods:Randomized controlled trials(RCTs) on the treatment of stable angina by Yiqi-Huoxue therapy were searched from CNKI,CSPD,CCD,and CBM.In RCTs,the observation groups were treated by TCM assisted with western medicine, while the control groups were treated by western medicine only.Literature screening should strictly follow the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The data were extracted, and RevMan 5.3 was used for the Meta-analysis of the clinical efficacy on stable angina. The efficacy indicators included the response rate of angina treatment, the response rate of electrocardiogram(ECG) improvement, and the response rate of improvement of TCM symptoms. Results:Ten research articles were included. The Meta-analysis revealed the response rates of angina treatment(RR=1.29,95% CI [1.08,1.55],Z=2.78,P=0.005),ECG improvement(RR=1.43,95 % CI [1.29,1.59],Z=6.85,P<0.000 01),and improvement of TCM symptoms(RR=1.29,95% CI [1.18,1.42],Z=5.41,P<0.000 01).Conclusion:Based on Yiqi-Huoxue therapy, the clinical efficacy of Yiqi-Huoxue drugs combined with western medicine was superior to that of western medicine in terms of attack frequency and degree of angina,ECG improvement, and improvement of TCM symptoms.
