Achyranthes bidentatae(AB) is one of the commonly used Chinese medicinal in China.Henan,Hebei provinces and Inner Mongolia Autonomous region are the main producing areas.However,cultivation techniques are different in producing areas which resulted in uneven yield and quality.This paper summarizes the influence of origin,germplasm,water and fertilizer,pests and diseases,harvesting and processing on the quality of Achyranthes bidentatae,aiming to provide a theoretical basis for standardized planting of Achyranthes bidentatae.
