The “gallbladder-fu” theory of Tibetan medicine is a complete system and an important component of the visceral manifestation theory of Tibetan medicine. It covers the whole process of physiology, pathology, diagnosis, and treatment of the “gallbladder” in Tibetan medicine.Tibetan medicine believes that “gallbladder disease” belongs to the category of “Chiba” diseases, and “Chiba” disease is the general name of all febrile diseases. Therefore, the nature of “gallbladder-fu” disease belongs to heat. The onset of this disease is attributed to seasonal climate change, diet, behavior, daily life, emotion, trauma, and other factors, which break the balance under the normal conditions of “Long”,“Chiba” and “Bacon” in the patient's body.In particular, the function of “Chiba” is disordered, which results in the exuberance of fire heat in the body, leading to febrile disease in the gallbladder.Tibetan medicine is widely used in the treatment of “gallbladder-fu” disease. However, the treatment of “gallbladder-fu” disease by Tibetan medicine should follow the “gallbladder-fu” theory of Tibetan medicine.Generally,a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment protocol combining internal treatment with external treatment is adopted in the appropriate timing of diagnosis and treatment to eliminate the fundamental pathogenic factors of the disease and achieve the purpose of curing the disease.
